One of the top places to visit in Alibag, the Alibaug Beach is a black-sand beach which offers the panoramic sight of the Kolaba Fort from the shores. It is famous for its picturesque sceneries of sunrise and sunset.
Named after the Alibaug coast, the Alibaug beach is not only popular for its scenic beauty but also for its rich history and many adventure sports activities. You can take a boat ride through the waters of the beach, which overlooks the Colaba Fort in all its glory.
While here, you can also visit the Ganpati Temple, which is almost 400 years old.

Located just 11 kilometres from Alibag or Seanest, Kihim Beach is famous for butterflies and birds. The beach is adorned with incredible golden sand. Water sports along with activities like Camel Ride and ATV are available. Beautiful migratory and resident birds also make their way to the Kihim beach and are found in abundance here.

The beautiful, dense and majestically mesmerizing lush green Kanakeshwar Forest is known for its richness and abundance of flora and fauna. Poisonous snakes, Panthers, Leopards, and Wild boars can be spotted here roaming around the forest. The forest is so rich in vegetation as to block any sunlight and the interiors also have a temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. The trail is a little risky to undertake and is only advisable with prior precautions.

About 21 km from Kashid and 50 km from Alibag / Sea Nest, this fort is surrounded by the turquoise colored waters of the Arabian Sea. Dating back to 15th century AD, built under the rule of Emperor Malik Amber, the ruler of Ahmednagar, the structure sports an enchanting entrance to the fort depicting a carving of a tiger trapped by six elephants.

Birla Temple

Around 20 km from Alibaug /Sea Nest across Revdanda Bridge, to the left is this beautiful temple within the JSW Ispat premises. The towering dome in exquisite white granite is visible from a long distance. Situated on a small hillock, you can walk up to the temple over well-paved stairs.
